Park Joo-ho (36-Suwon FC), who was responsible for the left flank of the South Korean national soccer team, is hanging up his jersey.
On June 25, football officials said, “Park Joo-ho will have his retirement ceremony on June 6 against K League 1 Ulsan Hyundai at the Suwon Sports Complex. The retirement ceremony will be held as a pre-match ceremony.”

Park Joo-ho is a star player who has played for the national team since his youth. He made his professional debut with Japan’s Mito Holyhawk in 2008 while still a student at Soongsil University, and went on to play for Kashima Antlers and Jubilo Iwata before moving to FC Basel (Switzerland) in the 2011-2012 season. He then joined Mainz 05 (Germany) in the Bundesliga in 2013-2014 and played for German giants Borussia Dortmund before joining Ulsan in 2018. He rejoined his current club Suwon FC ahead of the 2021 season and helped the team stay in the K League 1 for the second consecutive season. His career record in the K League is 124 games without a goal and three assists. 먹튀검증

He also had a stellar international career. He was named to Canada’s 2007 U-20 World Cup squad and was a wildcard at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, where he helped South Korea win its first gold medal in 28 years. At the senior level, he scored one goal in 40 A-match appearances, starting with an exhibition against Finland in 2010. He helped South Korea to a runner-up finish at the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup and also appeared at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

At the retirement ceremony, Suwon FC will show a video tribute to Park’s playing career, as well as present him with a commemorative photo frame and a bouquet of flowers.
