Searching for a file? Don’s allow it to sit there, hiding from you! Instead of digging around in thecurrentfolder, get into full Mac searching mode. Just below the search bar, see your options for refinement and click on “This Mac“. Consider that option to be your digital bloodhound, sniffing out your file wherever it may be hiding on your system.

But here comes the magic: You can build parameters for Spotlight to focus only on files tucked inside your Mac.
