Share Your Mac Internet Connection
Turn your Mac into a personal hotspot instantly. Click on theApple logoat the topleft corner of your screen, then from the cascading menu that appears, chooseSystem Settingsto go ahead and share your connection with the world.

Navigate toGeneral ->Sharing.

Go toAccessories & Internet, and toggle onInternet Sharing.

A pop-up window will ask you to confirm your choice. Click onConfigureto do so.

Are you ready to share your Internet love? Pick the connection type from the drop-down menu: Wi-Fi, Ethernet, iPhone USB, or even Thunderbolt Bridge faster than any of the above! Once you choose the type of connection, do your devices some preparation, and everything should start sharing!

Turn the “Internet Sharing” toggle ON from the top. You will be asked to flicker your connection by clicking “Turn On.”

“Choosing whatever you see fits, once done, click onDone. No worries, should you need finetuning at a later date. Just remove the current shared settings; you can go ahead and see if there is any possible good for the adjustment.”
In order to share your Mac’s internet, the connecting device must connect to your chosen interface. Chose “iPhone USB”? Then bring a cable and connect your iPhone to your device.
The devices will then share the Internet connection, allowing one to surf the web on their own. Note: there was an update after Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.7.. Hey, if Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or earlier is okay with a little mess, give it an uninstall.
Another word for “interface” that you may use is “interface.”
What about common interface? Connection will work from both ends-macOS and other systems.
“Wired” will work for all methods except Wi-Fi. That said, the wording is informal.
Some methods, especially Internet Sharing, need some startup from the client, meaning the client needs to work to share the connection.
Some connections might just be called interfaces.
Is that ugly jargon? Well, it should work.
Think before you connect. A digital handshake with the wrong person might compromise everything on your Mac. Fortify your defense; a secure Mac is a compelling prelude to a trustworthy connection.
Share Your Mac Wi-Fi Password
Unlock seamless connections: Share your Wi-Fi password effortlessly using one of two simple methods.
Got an iPhone or iPad handy? Unlock the Wi-Fi password sharing superpower! Simply connect that device to your desired network, then watch for a password-sharing prompt to magically appear on your Mac. A click of the “Share” button, and you’re online!

If you so wish, use the Passwords app and jump into those saved Wi-Fi passwords. It will ask you to authenticate using your Mac login or touch ID, just so it can verify that it’s you.

Unlock your Wi-Fi and spread the connection! Just tap to copy the password, then paste and share the digital love.
Yet another way to get a friend connected to your Wi-Fi without telling them some laundry list of a password is so darn simple with Apple. You just have to launch the Passwords app (yes, it’s more than passwords these days!). Locate your Wi-Fi, tap on “Show” for the password, and voila-so-fast! A QR code is shown. Your friend can then scan the winking square with their phone camera and be connected on the fly. Logins:-bye bye!
