On the host’s device, open the event page and tap the1 Access Requestbutton that appears at the top.
At the bottom, tap on the green tick button to approve the guest.
Once back on your device, keep an eye on your inbox! An email invitation should arrive, granting you access to the shared event. If you don’t see it immediately, give your iCloud page a quick refresh in your browser, and then dive into the event details.
