Taking screenshots every day and like snapping photos, chances are your photo library constantly overflowing with pictures. I certainly did, and cleaning it up was a chore that I’d rather not do to clean it down. Luckily, I recently found SwipewiPE app that helps make photo clean-ups easier so you can declutter your library and free up space on your device in seconds.
Good to know : you can use Google Photos on iPhone to create stickers.
Why Cleaning Up Photos on Your Phone Is so Time-Consuming
I don’t even care about cleaning up your photos until you’re facing the consequences. It should have become routine by the time it is done for someone who takes daily screenshots and lots of photos, but I am usually a little less away from that monotony of work.
But cleaning up photos isn’t just deleting, it’s about choosing what to do with . Can I use this after reading? Is it the best version? Will I regret deleting it? Many questions are multiple by hundreds or thousands of pictures and process is exhausting very quickly.
If you delete a single photo on top of that, it usually takes at least two taps to remove the same photo depending on the gallery app you’re using. While it is possible to delete bulk deleting (of course), but this means you will have to remove something that you might need later, since thumbnails don’t always tell the full story.
Tinder-swipe Your Way to a Cleaner Photo Library and Save Time
Is there a simple but very effective solution to keep your photo gallery in check by prompting you quickly decide what you want and what goes on with it? In order to remind you of your regular cleaning routines, the app can notify you every day. ****
There is a free 3-day trial of SwipewiPE, after which you will have to upgrade to tier paid (weekly/yearly options). Paraphrast.
Managing and deleting by categories
One of the Swipewipe’s best features is its colorful, intuitive interface, which makes finding photos quick and painless.
From the main screen, you can search categories such as Recents, **Duplicates*** or monthly folders so that you’ve gathered up photos easily.

Swipe was left to view more categories, including Screenshots, Live Photos and dedicated folders for your social media apps like WhatsApp (Instagram), Programm*****, *Snapchat & more.
This is especially useful because I use WhatsApp for my conversations and have media auto-save turned on, as I get a constant stream of photos and videos. Alternatively, if you want WhatsApp to block photos from saving them to your gallery?
If you swipe through your photos in a Tinder-like fashion, once inside ‘a folder’ the app allows you to “swip right Keep and left Delete (you can also use the buttons), for reducing time-consuming clean-up process.”

Similarly, when you see a photo (such as the Save icon on the right) you can bookmark it while viewing that photo. The app’s Bookmarks folder allows you to quickly access your favorite photos via this.
As most apps now use AI tools, SwipewiPE allows you to improve photos with artificial intelligence. Especially when an image is too dark, for example, and would use some lightening (and sometimes brighten) colors, this can be pretty helpful. How do I get it right now without leaving SwipewiPE? The AI improver tool doesn’t take suggestions but is automatically auto-pilot.

I got into a habit with SwipewiPE after cleaning up my monthly folders. To keep things under control, I check the Recents, Screenshots*** and **WhatsApp folder every week.”
Retrieving accidentally deleted photos
You pick up speed swiping through a folder. Some pictures you didn’t want to delete were accidentally deleted as they went into disrepair. So, if this is the case of , there’s no need to panic. To recover the image, you can simply tap the Back button at the top of .

After swiping through all the photos in a folder, Swipewinpe will display you ‘all of your photo cleaning activities’. If you notice a photo that should have not been deleted, press the Trash can icon to return it.

All in all, remember that deleting images from SwipewiPE sends them to your iPhone or Android’s Gallery app’t trash folder. To permanently remove them from your device you’ll have to also delete them out of trash. If one photo slips through the crack, this also means that if it is returned to you and complete your final step, then you can bring it back.
Seeing how much space you’ve saved
At the end of each swiping session, Swipewipe will show you how much space you’ve saved by deleting the photos.

To see how much you’ve deleted in total, swipe right from the app’s main screen and then select My Stats.

Why It Matters for Managing Your iCloud/Google Storage
It’s a very convenient and nice-to–have way to back up your photo gallery with iCloud or Google Photos, but the free 15GB (Google) / 5GB(icloud) storage can quickly fill up so that effective space management is important. Google can be particularly annoying when you start near the storage cap, re-informing people to take action.
My solution has been to focus on backing up only the photos matter most to me for a , and that’s why I have done this? It involves the removal of good backups, and manually uploading only selected photos. During this, Swipewip has helped me search through my large photo library in record time and find the picture worth saving.
Swipewinpe is a way to ensure that you keep your device’s storage under control even if you don’t usually back up to the cloud.
Check out this guide for more information on how to stop your Google storage from filling up if you’re reading it. Here are suggestions for iCloud users.
Another alternative would be to switch to a self-hosted photo backup system like Immich.
