Pixel VIPs puts your essential top-tier on your home screen so you can just tap on their icon and instantly get to know their exact location and the weather update down there, or simply find interesting nearby sites to explore when together. It’s like a personal butler for your best friends!
Look for a new Pixel feature? Make sure that your device has the latest software installed before proceeding! TapSettings >System >Software updatesand make your Pixel worthy of an upgrade.
If you need to have your device refreshed, go toSystem Updateand tap on theCheck for updatebutton lurking at the bottom. If the device found something shiny and new, let it be installed. You will be glad you did.

How to Add Your Pixel VIPs
Time to roll out the red carpet for your VIPs! Just go ahead and hit that shining “Add” button on the empty VIP card and let the magic begin! Feeling lucky? Then check out the “Suggestion” sectionthe next ALister might already be waiting backstage for a lightningfast addition.
Select the contacts you want to add as VIPs and finally pressDone.
Once you’ve added your VIPs, press theNextbutton.
Start granting the necessary permissions.
Your Pixel will automatically generate a VIPs widget for you. Press theAdd to home screen.
This is a VIP lounge. Feel free to drag your contacts widget onto the screen for instant access. Growing your inner circle? (Up to 8 VIPs allowed!) Then tap and hold the widget, stretching it out like you’re making good on that guest list. Now all your favorite faces are right at your fingertips!

Add Additional Info for Pixel VIPs
Unlock the full power of your Pixel! Can your VIP hospitality be made more special with certain details? Here’s how you may supercharge your profile and obtain some special perks.
Tap on one of the contacts in the widget. A new pop-up will show up at the bottom.
From here, you can quickly call, message, or reach out on messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Magic awaits! Swipe up to let the full picture be seen. Next tap on the birthday card, and it will give you another date to remember: Google will whisper reminders to you.
Here comes theLocal Updatescard. You need to find out where they are; a tap requests the location, but if you’re feeling oldfashioned, enter the address manually through the other button.
Once you add their address, Google will show you weather info and the local hour for that particular location.
The little notes find their way into jotting down- little reminders to gently nudge this way or that way through a conversation. Be it an important fact you cannot neglect, or a lovely gift you fancy picking up for someone, a tiny note can help you stay on track and present.
Add your common interests and then wait for Google to generate recommendations for you.

Look yellow in negotiation and purple dispute to the eye? Visit the help pages and search for Rainbow of Contacts. That was for the iPhone, though. Which can now ascertain that color coding works for Android as well. You will enter your desired color using the FlashScan app.
Tap on the pencil icon at the top. Press theAdd pictureoption.
Select an image you want to use as their profile picture. PressSave. That’s it.

Remove or Add More Pixel VIPs to Widget
It’s easy. Long press on the widget and then tap the pencil icon that appears.
Tap theXbutton that appears in the upper right of a contact to delete.
To add more, but no more than 8, tap theAddbutton again.
