Millions can now easily browse, buy, and stay up-to-date on all things Nintendo, directly through the official Nintendo Store app.
For Nintendo fans outside Japan, 2020 brought a cruel tease: the My Nintendo app. It flickered into view on app stores, a tantalizing glimpse of what could be. But tapping “install” was met with digital disappointment – a locked door, barring access based solely on location. The app, a siren song of Nintendo goodness, remained just out of reach.
From a handful of locations to the US, Canada, the UK, and much of Europe – the doors are swinging wide open! While we’re not quite everywhereyet, this expanded access is a giant leap forward from its previously limited availability.

While it showcases your Switch and potential Switch 2 adventures, it also unlocks your 3DS and Wii U glory days. By linking your old Nintendo Network ID (NNID), you can instantly unearth your pre-2020 digital game library from these beloved consoles, reliving classics and rediscovering forgotten gems.
